Textures of Lily Hill Park, Bracknell

Lily Hill Park is a 23-hectare public open space in Bracknell. The park were originally the grounds of Lily Hill House but the house is now offices and the grounds are now a public park run by Bracknell Forest Council.

In spring, the grounds are awash with colour from the Rhododendron trees. However at the start of March, apart from the odd Daffodil, there isn’t much colour.

So I started to photograph the patterns and shapes in tree trunks – as you do.
